OK, so it's about bikes, but that just adds spice! If you had been to the Bike Show and looked at the £7K+ bikes on offer, you would get a sense of the scale and expenditure in this industry - and here's a chap making them in his shed. Clearly he is well-versed in this sort of thing, but as Boeing is now sending 3D printing templates out instead of spare parts (for some things), then the disruption of this new technology is well under way:
